Sewer work to slow 62 Ave traffic

It will likely be slow going on 62 Avenue over the next four weeks as a storm sewer is installed.

H&M Excavating — the Penticton-based company that recently made storm sewer improvements on Main Street — will be installing pipe, catch basins and drywells along the avenue, which runs from Hwy. 97 to Osoyoos Secondary School.

The work will necessitate one-lane alternating traffic; it should be completed by the end of August.
