Baldy Mountain Resort has a new General Manager.
The resort has announced Andy Foster will lead its efforts as it enters its second full season of operation after re-opening last fall.
“Andy has been an integral member of the Baldy Mountain Resort (BMR) team as the Assistant General Manager during the first quarter of this year,” Baldy Mountain says in its blog.
“He continues to demonstrate that he is prepared to do everything possible to take BMR to the next level.”
Mr. Foster is described “as a highly motivated professional” with more than 12 years of progressive operational and managerial experience.
“Andy Foster brings a strong skill-set in events, marketing, sales, tourism and quality control with a focus on achieving results and client satisfaction,” the blog reads.
“(He) thoroughly understands how to create and deliver exceptional customer service through strategic planning underpinned by robust and efficient managing and implementation.”
“Bringing Andy to work at Baldy Mountain Resort has been part of our long-term vision for quite some time,” explained Baldy Mountain Resort Board Chairman, Victor Tsao.
“The original plan was to first have him work with the past Director of Operations, but he has quickly shown aptitude in the managerial role and is excelling at maximizing the current systems in place.
“We are thrilled to continue to maximize Andy’s expertise and his passion for enhancing customer experience year over year.”
Baldy Mountain Resort was founded in 1968 and is known as the Okanagan’s most family-friendly mountain. As Mount Baldy is an old volcano and is perfectly situated in the middle of the Wine Capital of Canada, it is the optimal place for a getaway in all four seasons.
