If the pre-season is any indication, every time the Osoyoos Coyotes and Summerland Steam get together this season, it’s gonna be a whole lot of fun.

The two clubs wrapped up a home-and-home exhibition series Saturday evening in Summerland, this affair knotted at 4-4.

The tie comes following a 3-3 deadlock in Osoyoos the previous evening.

Carter Shannon scored twice for the Coyotes, with singles coming from Cameron Welch and Maxime Dupont.

The Coyotes open the regular season Sept. 8 in Chase. They play in Kelowna the following evening.

The team’s home-opener is Sept. 22 against the Kamloops Storm.
