If you can’t get to it, The Art Gallery Osoyoos will bring the artwork to you.
The Gallery has organized a Saturday-evening stroll — with a short car-ride also required — to showcase local artists and their creations.
On display at six locations in the community — five of them on Main Street — will be paintings, pottery, jewelry, weaving, quilting, sculpture and glasswork. Up to 70 South Okanagan artisans are expected to participate.
The event is scheduled for 6 to 9:30 p.m. and will include stops at:
- The Art Gallery Osoyoos — 8713 Main St
- Okanagan Art Gallery — 8302 Main St.
- Bits And Bites Cafe — 8319 Main St
- JoJo’s Cafe — 8316 Main St
- Boston Pizza — Watermark Beach Resort
Artwork will also be displayed at Bordertown Vineyards & Estate Winery, located at 9140 – 92 Ave. just off Hwy. 97. and OsoyoosToday (8313 Main Street) will have another piece of art on display in its doorway during the event.
Besides offering wine and cheese — and live music at JoJo’s — the evening is a great opportunity to view and purchase original local art work.
