It was a cool early morning — boots on the ground at 4 a.m. — atop Anarchist Mountain, but the glow of a super moon coupled with a lunar eclipse warmed the enthusiasm of a few photographers who gathered to document this unique event.

The muted colours of early dawn provided just enough magic to complement the celestial celebration taking place overhead. It made for an incredible view that, frankly, a camera just couldn’t capture.

Nevertheless, here’s a little of what we enjoyed from our vantage point.
