The Osoyoos community’s Market on Main is preparing for another season of fresh food, neat knickknacks and cool crafts, hosting a vendor information meeting April 18.
The market, which first opened in Osoyoos 13 years ago, runs at the Town Square on Main Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday from May 18 to Sept. 14.
All products sold by its vendors are “made local and grown local, so you can buy local.”
The offerings include a variety of artisan crafts, local fruits and vegetables and wine/cider/beer/spirits.
Up to 40 approved vendors are allowed to sell at the market each year, with new members approved by a jury comprised of existing members.
Seasonal fees are $300 for all 18 markets or $25 daily. A frequent vendor card is also available at $100 for five visits.
The information meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Sonora Community Centre. For more information — including access to a vendor application form — visit osoyoosmarketonmain.ca.
