Two Osoyoos golf courses are taking full advantage of this week’s change in weather, both opening to play over the next couple of days.
Sonora Dunes Golf Course, located within the Nk’Mip Resort, opens this morning. The nine-hole executive-style course is offering nine holes of play — including power cart — for $25.
The course will even throw in a free cup of clubhouse coffee after the round.

On the other side of the valley, the Osoyoos Golf Club has scheduled Friday as opening day for the Desert Gold course.
Fifty bucks will get you 18 holes of golf and a power cart — for use on the cart paths only. The driving range is scheduled to open next week.
The OGC is also offering an April deal — unlimited play for $449.
Players can book tee times online or call the pro shop at 250-495-7003.
Meanwhile, the Greenside Bar & Grill is now open for lunch, to be served daily from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Desert Kiosk will also be open daily.
Anyone having lunch between now and April 15 will be entered into a draw for a Stay ‘n Play package at the beautiful Kokanee Springs Golf Resort.
