Rattlers make tourney championship, play at 3 p.m.

While the Men Rattlers play at 4 p.m. in the championship game, the Lady Rattlers wrapped up their tournament yesterday afternoon.

The Osoyoos Rattlers are in the championship game of their own tournament.

The Rattlers will play the Cedars Christian Eagles of Prince George at 3 p.m. this afternoon to wrap up three days of tournament play.

The Rattlers advanced to the championship game with a 94-79 win over Mt. Sentinel Saturday afternoon. The Eagles upset Barriere 79-72 to advance.

In Ladies play, the Lady Rattlers had their best outing of the tourney, staying close to Barriere in a 59-43 loss in a Saturday elimination game. In the other elimination game, Barriere beat Princeton 81-50.

In round-robin games, Fernie bear Ashcroft 68-35 to claim top seed in the A Pool, Barriere topped Princeton 81-50.

Play at both Osoyoos Secondary and the Sonora Centre continues this morning, with games beginning at 8 a.m. at OSS and 9 a.m. at the Sonora Centre.
