The community’s Director of Operational Services is no longer employed with the Town of Osoyoos — but town officials are not saying why.

“Jim Dinwoodie is no longer employed with the Town of Osoyoos,” wrote CAO Barry Romanko in an email this morning.

“This is a personnel matter and the Town has no further comments.”

Mr. Dinwoodie joined the Town’s staff in September 2015.

His departure is just one of several changes in key town positions.

The Town is looking to hire a Fire Chief and Mr. Romanko is expected to retire later this summer.

The Town will be advertising in the very near future to seek a replacement, Mr. Romanko said.
