Hold on, Osoyoos — believe it or not, some warm weather is on the way.
After an intense rainstorm Monday afternoon — and likely a few showers later today — the prediction is for the weather to gradually warm through the week.
Wednesday will be mainly sunny with a high of 28 and Thursday just plain sunny with a high of 30.
The real good stuff comes with the weekend. Highs in the low 30s are expected for both Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures are predicted to climb even higher early next week.
For the record, the average high for Osoyoos in mid-July is 29.5. In 1985, it was much cooler, with a record low of 4.5 recorded on July 8.
