Cannabis discussion continues at Council Monday

Osoyoos Council Monday will get back to the business of resolving cannabis sales in the community, preparing for federal action that will make recreational marijuana use legal in October. Council sent away Town staff July 3 with instruction to return with information to help it better determine where retail outlets should not be allowed (ie., near schools or parks), if sales should be permitted from Main Street outlets and more generally what commercial zones would permit sales.
