It’s taken more than three years, but Tracey and I have finally been completely assimilated into the Osoyoos culture.
We’ve embraced condo living, passed through the lake and boat phase, enjoy the summers but appreciate more the shoulder seasons.
And, this morning, we join the ranks of many Osoyoos residents and head to Cabo.
We’ll be gone just a week, but with those seven days comes opportunity to completely decompress — which is what I plan to do.
I’m stepping away from my laptop and won’t be publishing from Thursday through next Wednesday.
I hope you’ll miss OsoyoosToday. There are several other great information sources in the community and I’m sure you can turn to them while I’m gone.
But here’s the promise: we’re coming back to bigger and better things.
On March 18 — just in time for spring — we’re moving our operations to a downtown location.
We’ve spent more than three years growing OsoyoosToday and Osoyoos ThisWeek. Now it’s time to take the next step and move it out of the proverbial garage.
Give us some time to relax, tan and unwind and then, after we return, come visit us at our new location — 8313 Main Street.
Bring your stories, your frustrations and your ideas for a bright future and let’s chat — we plan to keep the door open as much as we possibly can.
