It’s been a week of righting past wrongs for the Osoyoos Coyotes.
Wednesday, they unhorsed the North Okanagan Knights 4-1 to avenge a 3-2 loss two weeks earlier in Armstrong.
Last night, the Coyotes and their fans poured into the frying pan that is Chase, BC, and cooled the Heat 7-2. That win avenged a 6-4 defeat the Coyotes suffered to the heat Oct. 14 — at the Sun Bowl.
Jackson Glimpel had a four-point evening last night as the Yotes blew open a close game with a four-goal outburst in the third period to record their 15th win of the season.
Austin Cleaver scored two goals and Colten Rhodes, Hunter Johnson, Carter Robinson and Sam Reinbolt added singles for the Yotes.
Kolten Moore and Kaden Black scored for Chase.
The clubs skated to a 2-2 draw after 20 minutes of play. Osoyoos led 3-2 after 40.
The Coyotes managed 55 shots on Heat netminders Nic Bruyere and Zak Larson; Adam Jones stopped 27 of 29 shots for Osoyoos.
The Coyotes are home tonight, hosting the Revelstoke Grizzlies. Game time is 7:35 p.m.
