After slumbering through the hot summer, Wine Country Racing is back for a double dose of racing excitement this weekend.
The Association is hosting the Kelowna Outlaws Club for a special Saturday event that will feature a full-race venue.
That will be followed up with another full day of racing Sunday.
The association is offering a weekend pass — meaning that if you pay on Saturday, you get in one Sunday’s racing for free.
Gates open at 9 a.m. both days, with time trials at 10 and side-by-side racing down the 1/8-mile track at 1 p.m.
Admission at the gate is $10. Spectators are encouraged to bring shade, shoes and lawn chairs.
