The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen will provide Osoyoos and Area “A” residents with a closer look at its 2016 budget and five-year financial plan next Wednesday (January 27) with an open house at the Sonora Centre.
Area “A” Director Mark Pendergraft and RDOS Finance staff will be attending.
The draft RDOS budget includes $783,145 in projects and services for Area “A”, with an additional $198,743 earmarked for the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department and $15,600 for the Northwest Osoyoos Sewer Service Area.
The average requisition for Area “A” residents will be $528.41 in 2016, up $7.51 from $520.90 in 2015.
Town of Osoyoos residents will also contribute to the Regional District budget, paying on average $150.69 per household, up $4.02 from $146.68 in 2015.
