Rise and shine, Osoyoos — It’s Saturday, September 17. Here’s what you need to know as your day gets started.
Hey, its Rock Creek Fall Fair weekend and the “biggest little fair around” is full of fun, attractions and so much more today and tomorrow. If you’re new to town, Rock Creek is just a half-hour drive away along Hwy. 3 east.
Our Coyotes are 2-0 after a 3-1 win in Kamloops last night. Tonight, the Yotes play in 100 Mile House against the Cyclone Cup-champion Wranglers. Should be a good test.
Have a junior curler in the house? Want a junior curler in the house. Sunday afternoon, the Osoyoos International Curling Club is hosting a junior curling mini camp. It’s the first event in what organizers are hoping will be a season of junior curling involving Osoyoos, Oliver, Penticton and Summerland youth.
Finally, remember this morning is Osoyoos Farmer’s Market morning at the Town Plaza Square. Just two sessions remain in the 2016 series — meaning you’re running out of great opportunities to purchase fresh farm produce and fruit, arts and crafts and other homemade and home-produced items at fair value.
