Community gathers en masse to remember Canada’s fallen heroes

It was a somber mood that hung heavy over the Town of Osoyoos Sunday morning as the community gathered en masse to honour Canada's war dead and its many veterans. Services commenced at the Sonora Centre, where hundreds paid their respects, names of local war dead were read and wreaths were laid. Later, at the Main Street cenotaph, the reminders were reprised.
