The two lawsuits, which have taken place in recent weeks, have raised the concerns of various experts about the implementation of euthanasia as a solution to the cases of those in vulnerable circumstances.

The first case corresponds to a woman with a severe sensitivity to chemicals, who demanded a home without industrial products for many years, and the second to a young woman with a disability and vulnerable economic conditions.

In this sense, activists are demanding more government intervention to address vulnerable sectors and provide them with a decent life, rather than a procedure to end it.

For his part, physician and paramedic Chandel Perot pointed out: “Adequate housing is not one of the criteria for eligibility to receive medical care at death.

The demands come as Canada continues to provide more funding to Ukraine, reducing government spending on domestic and social issues.

In 2016, practices such as euthanasia and assisted suicide were approved, which were extended to 2021 for those with mental illness. Similarly, the authorities value allowing these methods for those under 18 years of age.
