We were hoping to get an all-new Breath of the Wild to explore this year, but as you’ll likely remember, sequel It was Delayed until Spring 2023 Just a few weeks ago. But in the UK, at least, many people seem more than happy to wait.
Gamesindustry.bizBreath of the Wild’s Chris Dring revealed that Breath of the Wild’s packaged retail sales increased by 51% in the UK. For a five-year-old Nintendo first-party game, which is likely to be at full price, that’s ridiculous.
Maybe… maybe no Cancel that sequel though, Nintendo?
Breath of the wild is the fourth best-selling Switch game with over 25 million copies sold. So it’s clear that the delay, while sad for fans, won’t hurt Nintendo too much. except That share slack, we suppose. Breath of the Wild 2 is going to explode, right?
