Anti-war protests planned across Europe, small rallies in Russia

On Sunday, tens of thousands of people are expected to gather in cities across the country Europe To protest the war going on in Ukrainewith the organization of small gatherings in Russia And also despite the authorities’ repression of such demonstrations.

Trade unions have called for a protest in Berlin as sunny weather is expected to increase turnout. The organizers planned to walk from the city’s Alexanderplatz – a large square named after the Russian Tsar Alexander I – to a site near the Brandenburg Gate.

Protests have also been planned in Warsaw, London, Madrid, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Stuttgart.
