Betty White’s Estate Finds a Buyer for Its $8 Million Carmel Beach Home

On the picturesque Monterey Peninsula in Cali, this gorgeous 3,621-square-foot home features 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms with views of the local beaches from nearly every room.

Betty and her husband Allen Lowden He bought the plot in 1978 for $170,000, and completed the house in 1981—unfortunately, just days before Allen died of stomach cancer. Betty reportedly wanted to live out her last days in this home, but instead had to live in Los Angeles where home care was more accessible.

A flowery backyard garden overlooks the ocean, and a spacious balcony gives homeowners the perfect view any time of the day. The house listing was pretty on the sign with the words “here, heaven is yours”.

The surrounding area features a variety of walking trails, and steps from the back gate lead directly into the sand.

As you know, Betty died of a stroke a few weeks before her 100th birthday. Her estate was recently announced go to auction – With more than 1,500 of her personal items and memorabilia on display in September.
