Betty and her husband Allen Lowden He bought the plot in 1978 for $170,000, and completed the house in 1981—unfortunately, just days before Allen died of stomach cancer. Betty reportedly wanted to live out her last days in this home, but instead had to live in Los Angeles where home care was more accessible.
A flowery backyard garden overlooks the ocean, and a spacious balcony gives homeowners the perfect view any time of the day. The house listing was pretty on the sign with the words “here, heaven is yours”.
