The City of Penticton, with assistance from various South Okanagan chambers of commerce, is organizing a skilled labour strategy summit to talk about bringing more skilled workers to the South Okanagan.
The half-day summit is scheduled for March 18 at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.
According to the event registration site, the event will allow business owners to come together with their peers, government and support organizations to “hear about recent local research efforts into these challenges and to give input on prioritization of the next steps.”
The session, it says, “is about moving from talking to doing.“
More information about the event can be gathered by calling Colleen Pennington at 250-493-3323. Those wishing to register can visit http://www.skilledlabourstrategy.eventbfrite.ca.
