OSS celebrates 37 years with open house

With yesterday’s provincial funding announcement, perhaps it’s a little premature, but Osoyoos Secondary wants you to come help them celebrate anyway.

The school is hosting a celebration of 37 years of Rattler Hiss-tory this evening, inviting students, parents, alumni, former faculty and other members of the Osoyoos community.

The event goes at 6 p.m. at the OSS gymnasium.

Those attending are encouraged to wear Rattler colours and come with the intention to celebrate.

The celebration was scheduled before a provincial announcement yesterday that provides additional funding to the Okanagan Similkameen School District to keep the school open.

It is scheduled to close June 30, with students attending South Okanagan Secondary School in Oliver beginning next Fall.
