Today is the last day for Wine Country drag racing this spring season. The cars will be gone until September.
Wine Country Racing Association has one surefire way to keep dad off the couch today — take him to the track instead.
The Wine Country Racing Association has scheduled another Sunday of drag racing this morning — the last of the season before it breaks for summer.
Gates open at 9 a.m., with time trials scheduled for 10 to noon.
The actual racing — two cars side-by-side down an 1/8-mile track — begins at 1 p.m.
Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and wear proper footwear.
Tickets are just $10 for adults and kids 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. (Heck, dad will want to go so bad, he’ll probably pay.)
RPM is located at Osoyoos Airport, just west of Hwy. 97 on Hwy. 3.
Additional racing dates this season include Sept. 23 and Oct. 7.
