Sleeping Indoors opens tonight at Osoyoos Secondary Theatre

Three nights of Sleeping Indoors get started this evening at the Osoyoos Secondary School Theatre.

The comedy-drama, directed by Jen Jensen, will play for three evenings on May 5, 6 and 7. Show time each night is 7:30 p.m.

Sleeping Indoors follows the misadventures of a well-to-do family after philanthropic housewife Nora, played by Diane Gludovatz, invites a homeless stranger (Tom Szalay) into her home for the holidays.

She and her family members — husband Paul, played by Trevor Leigh, and younger sister, Nicole, played by Aimee Grice — find themselves re-evaluating their priorities, what makes a person “rich,” and the definition of personal freedom.

Tickets for the Osoyoos performances are available at Your Dollar Store with More in Osoyoos and at Sundance Video in Oliver.

Ticket prices for Osoyoos are $18 in advance or $20 at the door.

Sleeping Indoors will also be entered in Theatre BC’s Okanagan Zone Theatre Festival, to be held at the Frank Venables Theatre in Oliver from May 21 through 27.
