There’s still time to get fully corked for the Half-Corked Marathon

We’re betting you think you’ve missed your chance to party at the Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country’s Half-Corked Marathon — scheduled for May 27-29.

Yes, race tickets are sold out, which means you can’t run, walk or crawl the route, but you can still get in on the party.

Mark your calendar to attend the Party! At the Finish Line May 28.

The party is a relaxing afternoon of entertainment, food, wine, friends, and family.  Best of all, you can cheer HCM participants as they cross the Finish Line.

The party goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oliver Community Park.

General admission of the Finish Line area is free, but if you have friends and family who would like to participate in the wine tasting and enjoy lunch as well you (or they) can purchase a Finish Line Wine Tasting ticket.

The $20 Finish Line Wine Tasting Ticket includes three tasting tokens, and souvenir wine glass. Extra wine tokens can be purchased at the event for $1 each.

There will be a couple of food trucks on site for those who are looking for something to eat.

The Half Corked Marathon has become one of the most highly anticipated events in Canada. This race is all about having fun, which means it’s OK to get in on the laughs.

And, who knows, you might be inspired to enter and train for the 2017 event. To do that, you’ll want to sign up for the Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country newsletter to be notified of when the lottery opens for the 2017 Half Corked Marthon (TBA 2016).
