Spain will face Canada, Serbia and South Korea in Group B of the 2022 Davis Cup (September 14-18) in the Andalusian city of Malaga on Tuesday.
Also in Bologna, in Group A, Argentina face Italy and its Sinner-Bertini generation, Croatia and Sweden.
Spain’s Rafa Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz, who are in the draw, will face stiff rivals Novak Djokovic and Canadians in Valencia, Serbia.
In the Scottish city of Glasgow, Great Britain will receive the United States, Kazakhstan and the Netherlands, while Hamburg will host the group from France, Belgium and Australia.
The top two in each group will qualify for the quarterfinals in Malaga at the end of November in both 2022 and 2023.
The final round of the Davis Cup with the new format will be played in two volumes: a group stage with 16 nations, in four cities in mid-September, and the final week with 8 teams in Malaga.
Reigning champions Russia were eliminated from the tournament due to the invasion of Ukraine.
Madrid hosted the first two editions of the Davis Cup in 2019 and 2021 with a new format.
