Toastmasters celebrating 20 years of talk and presentation

South Okanagan Toastmasters will celebrate 20 years of improved enunciation, speech and presentation with a bash next Tuesday.

The celebration will begin at 7 p.m. at the Oliver Senior Centre, located at 5876 Airport Street in Oliver.

Represented at the meeting will be past South Okanagan Toastmasters members, current members and members of the public.

A presentation will be made by longtime club member Bill Greer, who has been a club member for 10 years. There will also be presentations made by past members and current members as well.

In attendance will be past members, current members, members of visiting toastmasters clubs, including board electives, and members of the public.

The club is currently located in Oliver but started in Osoyoos as a local club with weekly meetings.  Membership is currently split between Osoyoos and Oliver and a few members from the surrounding communities.
