Mexico are already in the semifinals of the Norsega Senior Continental Championship, with their pass for the World Cup against Canada this Sunday being played at 8:00 p.m.

At 6:00 pm in the People’s Auditorium, Puerto Rico and Cuba will perform in search of a place in the finals.

Puerto Rico defeated the Dominican Republic and Canada defeated the United States, with Mexico and Cuba automatically advancing as group leaders.

One of the most anticipated matches on Saturday was the United States against Canada, where the Canadians consolidated their positions in five sets of 25-22, 22-25, 15-25, 25-22 and 15-10.

Definitely not a match for the heart, Brandon Coopers is the star of the match from the home side of the maple leaf.

But Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic also qualified for the quarterfinals, with Dicos winning their pass to the semifinals 25-22, 22-25, 25-16 and 25-23.

So far, only Russia has qualified by hosting the World Cup, as well as current champion Poland.

There are ten teams qualifying for the World Cup, one in each of the Continental Championships and two in five federations.
