US calls for qualifiers against El Salvador, Canada and Honduras

The United States on Friday announced a list of 28 players who have been called up to prepare for the next qualifiers for the Qatar-2022 World Cup against El Salvador, Canada and Honduras.

FC Barcelona’s full-back Test missed two knockout matches in November due to injury, while Juventus midfielder McKennie was not last in those games due to card accumulation.

Seattle Saunders striker Jordan Morris has not been called up to the World Cup qualifiers since September 2017.

The United States, which occupies second place in the final octagon Concacaf, will receive El Salvador in Columbus (Ohio) on January 27, and the President of Canada will arrive on January 30 and close this window on February 2 against Honduras in Saint Paul (Minnesota).

Of the 28 players who will be concentrated in Columbus, five will be out, with others like forward forward Christian Pulisic (Chelsea) or young Mexican-American striker Ricardo Pepi (Oxburg).

After the first eight days, Canada leads the hexagon with 16 points, followed by the United States with 15 points, and Mexico and Panama with 14 points each.
