Air Transat returns to operations between Canada and Scotland

The resumption of service in Toronto marks the return of the first route between Scotland and Canada in more than a year.

Operated by Air Transat, the Toronto service returned to Glasgow, becoming the first North American route to serve Scotland in a year.

In winter the service operates up to two weekly flights on Thursdays and Saturdays. During the summer, Air Transat will increase capacity and provide 4 weekly services to Toronto.

Air exchange The aircraft is back on track using one of the Airbus A321neoLR aircraft, which consumes more than 15 percent more fuel, produces less than 50 percent cabin noise and produces about 5,000 tons less CO2 per year, and reduces NOX emissions by 50 percent compared to previous generation Airbus aircraft. .
