Both airlines have again added Panama to their offer for Canadian tourists, with all-inclusive packages at Playa Blanca hotels, with the option to enjoy other functions
Two airlines (Air Transat and Sunwing) announced direct flights from Canada to Scarlett Martinez Airport in Rio Hotto, the airline informed Documen, SA, the operator of the airport located in Rio Hotto.
Air Transat, which operates direct tourist flights from Canada, will resume operations from November 23, with 1 weekly flight and two weekly flights (Monday and Tuesday) starting on December 13, 2021.
Sunwing Airlines, which was scheduled to resume operations from November 12, will have weekly flights to December 17, 2021 and two weekly flights (Monday and Friday) starting on December 20.
Air Transat and Sunwing have re-added Panama to Canada’s tourist offerings, with all-inclusive packages at Playa Blanca hotels, with the option of enjoying other activities that will help boost the economy in the attractive cities of the central part of the country. Such as Coclé, Panama Oeste and Azuero.
According to sources, the reactivation of these charter planes has been included in the national government’s strategy aimed at reviving the country’s economy.
