The Argentine men’s volleyball team, which won a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, recorded their first victory in the Nations League (VNL) this Thursday, beating Germany 3-1 in Ottawa, Canada.
The team, led by Marcelo Mendes, lost 3-0 in their debut match Poland (World Champion), 18-25, 25-22, 25-17 and 25-20 against the Germans.

Argentina’s last meeting (there will be a total of three in the regular round in total) will take place against Italy at 3:00 pm on Sunday in Ottawa, the venue for the first week of the league. Then, before heading to the Philippines, the team will return to Buenos Aires, where it will be the second leg of this annual national team tournament.
