The Mexican national team could not against Canada and fell in the semifinals of the Norsega Senior 2021 Continental Championship, and will have to fight for third place against Cuba.
The two finalists are Puerto Rico and Canada, first referring to defeated Cuba.
Dicos defeated Cuba 23-25, 25-22, 25-19 and 33-31.
In the other semifinal match, Canada intimidated Mexico at home, winning all three episodes, with which they recorded for the big party, with numbers 25-22, 25-17 and 25-18.
Before the semifinals, the matches for fifth and sixth place in the Continental Championship took place, with the United States and the Dominican Republic beating Guatemala and Trinidad and Tobago, respectively.
The Dominicans had no problem beating the Dominican Republic 25-19, 25-20 and 25-22 in three sets.
In the other match, the United States defeated Guatemala in four sets of 23 to 25, 25 to 22, 25 to 19 and 33 to 31.
The finale is Monday, August 23, at 8:00 pm in the Auditorio del Pueblo.
