Riot Games has accidentally leaked 4 cities where the worlds will host 2022. We are talking about New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Mexico City.
Within minutes of its release, the company released this information via an intimate YouTube video. The clip lasted long enough for fans to find out which countries will host the World Cup. League of Legends.
Although the video is no longer available, there are screenshots from the official LoL Esports page confirming the following information: The entire event will be played in North America from team stage to final. Let’s see the worlds again on our continent for the first time since 2016. This is the first international LoL event to be held in Mexico in several years.
Riot Games described its plans for Worlds 2022 as “a strong continental tour” that marks the return of the World Cup to North America after 6 years. It is also the first World Cup to be held in different cities in 2 years.
The Worlds 2020 was only played in Shanghai. By 2021, the idea was to spread through Shanghai, Qingdao, Wuhan, Chengdu and Shenzhen, but the epidemic killed those plans. At the last minute, this year’s biggest sporting event had to move once again, and all the matches were held in Reykjavik, Iceland.
It is not yet confirmed whether World 2022 will have a live audience. After the official announcement of the World Cup cities, the riot is likely to share more information as more security measures are being developed around the Kovit-19 epidemic.
